AVALON OMEGA BIO

Avalon Omega is a unique urban artist with a positive message conveyed in her music. She writes, sings and performs all of her own material. Avalon first began composing music at age 14 when she studied cello and piano. Shortly thereafter she started working with electronic instruments and her love of modern electronic and dance music began. Following this Avalon began performing at clubs and venues throughout the Los Angeles area with artists such as Kurupt Young Gotti from Snoop Doggs Crew, 2Mex and M.I.A. Avalon Omega's influences stem from bands such as Kraftwerk, Thrill Kill Kult, Radiohead, Zero 7, The Yardbirds, Led Zeppelin and her love of World Music includes traditional Indian music. Avalon’s diverse musical influences have given rise to an original style in her compositions, which blend the genre’s of electronica, dance music and hip hop. This coupled with a distinctive and engaging style of vocal play, swagger and lyrical poetry define the artist Avalon Omega.
